Paper On "The Alchemist"

This story takes moorage in the desserts of North Africa as well as Confederate Spain presumably during the 1700s. It is about a male child who goes in lookup of riches in the Pyramids after having recurring dreams of the treasure. He takes on a pilgrimage to find his treasure and achieve what is called his private Legend. A Personal Legend is the goal you were meant to accomplish when one is born on the Earth. The main char exertioners in the book opposite than the son are the Alchemist, the watch crystal Merchant, the Englishman and the King. They all contribute to the boys voyage by leading and convincing him to achieve his Personal Legend. The author did not give these characters personal names because the he wan ts the proofreader to interpret that anyone can find purpose in their suffer life. In the beginning, the boy decided to sell his flock. He did this because he needed enough money to journey to the Egyptian Pyramids. It was a hugely hard decision for him because the flock was very excess to him. He also jeopardized his future when he chose to leave his define surroundings to find a treasure that had only appeared in his dreams. Although he was enjoying his life as a sheepherder and a traveler, he wanted to explore his purpose in life. The Sheep leave only if get used to my not being there, too the boy sentiment. (Page 29) The boy contemplated this after making his conclusion to sell his flock. The thought comforted him and further convinced him that his decision was right. This course of act was an important one because it began his pursuit of the treasure.
